Once seen as pub entertainment, darts is now filling arenas, signing global sponsors, and creating million-dollar stars.
The 2025 BoyleSports World Grand Prix in Leicester features a £600,000 prize pool, with £120,000 awarded to the winner. The Professional Darts Corporation (PDC) continues to expand with record prize money, doubling the World Championship pot to £5 million from 2025–26.
Young stars like Luke Littler, who already secured £1.5 million in endorsements, are leading the boom. Sponsorship deals with Paddy Power and BetMGM pushed PDC’s revenues to £54.2 million in 2024.
